The embassy office in Beirut has reopened for visitors, but due to the security situation, the embassy's activities are still limited. There are still no on-site migration activities in Beirut. Those wishing to apply for a visa or residence permit are referred to other embassies or consulates-general in the region.

Applying for a visa

If you live in Lebanon and want to apply for a visa to visit Sweden for up to 90 days, you can contact VFS Global in Jordan, Saudi Arabia, United Arab Emirates, Egypt or Turkey. VFS Global is an external service provider that receives applications for Schengen visas, but it is the Swedish embassy or consulate general in these countries that decides on the visa.
